SeaArt AI combines hosted generation, community publishing, model discovery, and online fine-tuning. Its documentation covers Checkpoints, stacked LoRAs, image and video training, and model families including SD 1.5, SDXL, Pony, Illustrious, FLUX, and SD3.5. SeaArt documents mature-content display controls and NSFW labels, while its current FAQ also states that pornographic generation is prohibited and NSFW content is filtered; Mature Mode should therefore not be read as a blanket permission for explicit generation.
SeaArt is more than a single prompt box. It combines hosted generation with a public catalog of community Checkpoints and LoRAs, publishing tools, profiles, AI apps, and online model training. The model catalog exposes base-model and model-type metadata so readers can distinguish a community fine-tune from the platform that hosts and runs it. As with other model marketplaces, a model page documents availability and author-supplied details; it does not establish that every uploaded model has the same license, policy, or output behavior.
Generation and model workflows
The official guide describes a workflow that selects a base Checkpoint, applies prompts and settings, and optionally stacks as many as five LoRAs. It explicitly separates SD 1.5 and SDXL LoRA compatibility and documents current training choices that include Stable Diffusion 1.5, SDXL, Pony, Illustrious, FLUX.1, and Stable Diffusion 3.5. Image training supports dataset upload, tagging, cropping, preview prompts and publishing. Video documentation covers Hunyuan and Wan text-to-video or image-to-video LoRA workflows. Feature presence does not imply identical availability or cost across every model.
Mature Mode and moderation
A March 2025 first-party update renamed Green Mode to Mature Mode and says the setting affects content displayed across public community areas. SeaArt's FAQ defines NSFW labels, describes automated plus human moderation, and currently states that illegal, violent, pornographic, or infringing generation is prohibited and that NSFW content is strictly filtered. These facts can coexist: a mature display classification can cover sensitive material without authorizing every explicit prompt. The precise boundary can change with moderation updates, region, feature, and whether content is public or private, so the profile records the documented controls rather than inferring an unrestricted policy from community imagery.
Operational limits and privacy
Hosted generation means prompts, uploads, datasets, trained adapters, and outputs pass through platform systems rather than staying on the user's machine. Training a likeness also does not guarantee character consistency; dataset quality, captions, base-model compatibility, LoRA weight, and generation settings remain material. Anyone uploading identifiable or intimate material should follow the image-upload privacy workflow, confirm consent, and review current publication visibility. For practical model selection and prompt controls, see the hosted generator guide.
Technical context
SeaArt labels community resources by documented model family and offers LoRA training plus image/video workflows; compatibility still follows the declared base.
